Linda Klein

Linda Klein is an eco-conscious Bay Area, California Artist who describes herself as being on a creative journey to discover the balance and harmony between realism and abstract.

The majority of Klein's work today focuses on lively colors and ecology. Combining multilayers of watercolor with the addition of texture from collaged bits of litter she cleans up off of California's scenic roads and her own recyclables and junk mail, to bring a greater purpose to her work. It's not a rare thing on any given day to find Linda digging in her recycle bin for creative materials. These exciting paintings rejoice in nature and provide a gentle reminder to be better stewards of our planet. They provide trees which were destroyed to make paper and eventually became litter, the opportunity to become beautiful tree-scapes once again.
